SHERWOOD PARK, CANADA, December 20, 2022 – MSCP Heat Management Solutions of Sherwood Park, AB, announced today the signing of a 5-year heat management contract with a major Canadian oil sands facility.
The facility produces 220K barrels of product per day and is a proven leader in applying technology and innovation to responsibly develop Canada’s energy resources. It awarded MSCP the management of its entire heat management system, including engineering, heat tracing, insulation, rope access, and a vendor-managed inventory of all the associated materials.
“Everyone at MSCP is excited about this new opportunity to help transform and elevate the current standards of oil and gas heat management,” said MSCP CEO Chris Maki.
MSCP won the contract due to MSCP’s successful creation of a new Heat Management Industry designed to take full ownership and keep production flowing even under the harshest conditions, minimizing frozen pipes that lead to downtime or releases into the environment. They also partnered with a leading heat trace manufacturer based out of Houston to help fulfill this and future large-scale projects.
“Our mission is to use technology to create safer and more efficient heat management solutions,” says Mr. Maki. “We invite everyone in oil and gas to explore our methodology that will help them reach their growth objectives.”
